Using the tools
Doom Converter provides browser tools for working with documents. There is no account or daily processing quota in the current application. Availability and performance depend on the website, your browser, available memory and the document itself.
No fixed file size is guaranteed to work on every device. Large documents, high-resolution scans and complex layouts may exceed available memory or take a long time. Keep a backup before processing.
Your documents and permissions
You keep the rights you already have in your documents. Use the tools only with files you own or are authorized to process. You are responsible for having permission to change, copy, decrypt or share a document.
Do not use the service to infringe another person’s rights, introduce malicious content, interfere with the website or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data.
Review each result
Conversion can change fonts, layout, selectable text, accessibility information, links, forms, annotations, signatures or metadata. Some tools rebuild pages as images. Review the downloaded result before relying on it or sending it to someone else.
OCR, text extraction, comparisons and format conversion can make mistakes or omit content. The tools are not a replacement for professional review of legal, financial, medical or other consequential documents.
Security and signature limits
Cropping, whiteout and watermarks do not securely remove information. The redaction workflow is under review and should not be used for confidential information until its security fixes are verified. Clearing common metadata is not a complete document-sanitization process.
Password protection currently uses legacy encryption and should not be treated as modern high-assurance protection. A visible signature added to a PDF is not a certificate-based digital signature. Whether a signing process has legal effect depends on the process, document and applicable law.
Privacy and third parties
The Privacy policy explains local file processing, downloaded components and website requests. Third-party websites reached through links apply their own terms and privacy practices.
Advertising
Advertising spaces are reserved in the preview, but no live advertising is enabled. If ads are introduced, they will be identified separately from document controls. An advertisement does not establish that a product is endorsed by the operator.
Availability and responsibility
The service may contain errors or be interrupted. No promise is made that every document will process correctly or that the service will always be available. Keep original files and check outputs.
Nothing in these terms is intended to remove rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Operator details, applicable jurisdiction and any permitted liability provisions require review before publication.
Changes and contact
Material changes to these terms will be reflected in the published version and its effective date. A working contact route will be provided before launch.
