The split is at the exact center of the displayed page. It works best when two scanned pages occupy equal halves. This tool does not detect the book spine or deskew the scan. Crop or correct uneven scans first if the midpoint would cut through text. Existing page rotation is taken into account.
Each result uses a cropped copy of the source page. The hidden half may still be stored in the document and recoverable by changing its boundaries. Do not use this method to remove private information. Use a verified redaction workflow for sensitive content and review the whole output before sharing.
