Fit image uses a page size based on each picture. A4 and Letter place pictures on standard paper sizes and scale them to fit within the selected margins. Automatic orientation follows the image shape. Use fixed portrait or landscape orientation if the final document needs a consistent layout.
A PDF wrapper does not add detail to a blurry or low-resolution image. JPG and PNG are supported directly; other formats depend on browser decoding. If an image format fails, export it as JPG or PNG first. Images become page artwork rather than selectable text. Use OCR afterward when you need to search photographed writing.
Decoding depends on browser support; accepting an extension does not guarantee it can be read.
