Does this make a searchable PDF?
It creates an image-based PDF. Run OCR PDF afterward to recognize printed text.
Will the camera button work everywhere?
Camera capture depends on your browser and device. Selecting existing photos is also available.
Start with a clear photograph
Place the paper on a flat surface with even lighting. Keep the camera parallel to the page and include all four corners. The cleanup filters adjust brightness and contrast; they do not automatically correct perspective or detect page edges. Crop and straighten photos first if their borders are distracting.
Choose cleanup to suit the document
Black & white can improve simple printed text but may lose faint marks or shaded graphics. Enhance produces a brighter grayscale version. Original keeps the photographed appearance. The output contains page images, so use OCR PDF afterward if you need searchable text. Image support depends on what your browser can decode.
Photograph quality matters
No automatic perspective correction, edge detection or OCR is promised.
