No. Attachments are downloaded in their embedded file formats.
Some PDFs include source documents or supplementary records in their attachment panel. This tool reads document-level embedded attachments and saves their contents separately. Files referenced only through certain page annotations may not appear in that list.
Extraction does not execute the embedded files. Output names receive a numeric prefix and unsafe path characters are removed to keep downloads distinct. Only open attachments from sources you trust. A PDF containing pictures does not necessarily contain attachments; use Extract PDF images for page images.
Page annotations and unusual embedded-file arrangements may not be discovered. An extracted file is not verified safe to open.
The PDF may have none in its document-level attachment tree, or may use an unsupported arrangement. Check a reader attachment panel and page annotations before concluding that nothing is embedded.
