No. Each PDF page becomes an image. You can add new objects on top in PowerPoint.
Only extractable text can become notes. Use OCR first for scans.
Each page is rendered as a slide image. You can present it or add new PowerPoint objects on top, but the original text and graphics are not separate editable objects. This approach works well for discussing a report or bringing a finished PDF into a presentation workflow.
The deck uses proportions based on the first page. PDFs containing pages with different aspect ratios may not display consistently, so inspect those slides carefully. Speaker notes contain extractable text when available; scanned pages need OCR first if you want meaningful text notes. Notes are a convenience, not a verified transcript.
Slide text and shapes are not separately editable; first-page proportions define every slide.
Each slide contains a rendered page image. Use original presentation sources for object-level editing.
