Will fillable fields be deleted?
No. Widget annotations are preserved.
Can it remove a watermark printed into the page?
No. Page artwork is different from a removable annotation.
Remove review markup from pages
Annotations are separate objects that PDF readers place over the document. The tool removes annotation entries except form widgets and, by default, links. It reports how many entries were removed. Keep the reviewed original if you need a record of comments or feedback.
Flattened marks cannot be separated
A highlight or note that has already been turned into ordinary page artwork is no longer a removable annotation. This tool will not erase it. Annotation removal is also not a complete privacy audit: document metadata, attachments and visible page text require their own review.

Flattened marks are ordinary page artwork
Flattened marks already in page artwork cannot be removed. Form widgets are preserved; this is not full document sanitization.
A highlighted passage remains
The mark may be ordinary page artwork rather than an annotation. Edit the original source or use an appropriate content-editing workflow.
