The extractor groups nearby text by its position on the page and estimates column boundaries. Simple tables with consistent alignment are the best fit. Merged cells, wrapped text and multiple tables can confuse the structure. This tool does not recover original spreadsheet formulas, chart data or workbook formatting.
Check row alignment, headers, decimal separators and totals. Values that look numeric may be stored as numbers, which can affect identifiers with leading zeros. Image-only tables need OCR first, and recognition errors can affect the spreadsheet. Treat the output as a starting point for data cleanup rather than a validated dataset.
