Our tools use the following open-source components. Their original licenses, copyright notices and source references are available below.

Audio and video engine

The @ffmpeg/ffmpeg wrapper is version 0.12.15 (MIT). The unmodified @ffmpeg/core is version 0.12.10 (GPL-2.0-or-later). The browser reconstructs the original WASM bytes from three transport files.

Download the core release source and build scripts. The upstream Dockerfile identifies the component versions below. Its build toolchain is Emscripten 3.1.40, including its SDL2 port.

Image compression

AVIF encoding uses @jsquash/avif 2.1.1. Lossless PNG optimization uses @jsquash/oxipng 2.3.0. Both are loaded only when needed and run in a local worker.

PDF and OCR library notices are distributed under /vendor/licenses/. These libraries retain their own terms and copyright notices. Software is provided without warranty as described in each license.
