This converter focuses on editable text and paragraph structure, not full layout reconstruction.
Run OCR PDF first, then convert the searchable result to Word.
PDF stores the placement of content, not the same document structure as Word. This tool reconstructs text into a simpler editable document. It does not recreate a page-perfect layout with all original tables, images and columns. Check reading order and paragraph boundaries before revising or reusing the text.
If a file contains only pictures of text, run OCR PDF first and use that result as the input. Poor recognition will carry through to Word, so proofreading remains necessary. The converter can also struggle with unusual encodings or very short documents that do not contain enough extractable text.
Images, tables and complex layouts are not reconstructed faithfully; paragraph and heading detection is heuristic.
The source may contain only scanned page images. Run OCR first and proofread before converting again.
