Convert 3D to STL

Export a mesh model as a binary STL for a compatible 3D printing workflow.

Choose a 3D model

GLB, glTF, OBJ, STL or PLY · Device-dependent capacity

Three simple steps

01

Choose your model

Add one GLB, glTF, OBJ, STL or PLY. Include local BIN and texture files used by glTF.

02

Inspect the preview

Orbit and zoom to inspect the mesh. Check its dimensions and triangle count.

03

Export a copy

Choose your output format and download. Verify scale and surfaces in the destination application.

Common questions

Which 3D formats can I convert?

This tool reads GLB, glTF, OBJ, STL and PLY meshes and exports GLB, glTF, OBJ, STL or PLY. CAD solids such as STEP, IGES and DWG are not supported.

Will materials and animation be preserved?

STL keeps geometry only. OBJ and PLY outputs do not retain textures or animation. OBJ import does not load MTL material files. GLB and glTF keep supported scene features, but extensions such as Draco, Meshopt and KTX2 compression are not enabled in this version.

Is the result ready to 3D print?

An STL export is not a repair or printability check. Inspect units, wall thickness, watertightness and orientation in your slicer before printing.

Can a model load remote textures?

No. Remote asset addresses are rejected. Select the referenced texture and BIN files together with a glTF, or export a self-contained GLB from your 3D application.

What are the limits?

There is no fixed file-size cap. Large selections show a warning before loading, and success depends on your device memory and the model complexity. Preview requires WebGL 2 and is skipped above one million triangles to reduce graphics-memory use. Conversion remains available, but very large models can still fail or freeze the tab.
