Check why one page prints at a different scale
Page 6 of a report prints smaller than its neighbors even though the text looks similarly sized onscreen. Generate the full report and compare page 6 dimensions and rotation with pages 5 and 7. A larger source sheet can trigger print scaling; use Resize PDF only after identifying the intended paper size.
✓ Review every page dimension in the full text report, not only the preview. Compare orientation with visible pages and use the result to choose a sizing tool.Frequently asked questions
The details, when you need them.
Does it verify a digital signature?
No. Signature validation requires a dedicated verification workflow.
Can I change the listed metadata?
Use Edit metadata or Remove PDF metadata.
Check a mixed-size document
The report lists the displayed size of each page in millimetres and its rotation. This helps identify a landscape page among portrait pages or a document mixing paper sizes. It also lists common metadata exposed by the PDF reader. Metadata values are supplied by the document and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
Information is not validation
This report does not certify PDF/A, accessibility, print readiness or a digital signature. It also does not inspect every hidden object in a PDF. Use it as a practical inventory of common properties and page geometry, then choose a specialized workflow if a formal standard must be met.
Check the saved result
Review every page dimension in the full text report, not only the preview. Compare orientation with visible pages and use the result to choose a sizing tool.
Inspection does not certify document standards
Reported metadata can be incomplete or inaccurate. No PDF/A, accessibility, security or signature validation is performed.
A title or author is blank
The document may not contain that standard property. Edit metadata if a descriptive property is needed; do not infer provenance from an absent field.
