The converter adds a heading for each source page and retains extracted lines. It does not infer every heading, list or table from the original design. Markdown punctuation in extracted text is escaped to reduce unintended formatting. You can then organize the draft into meaningful sections in your editor.
Scans require OCR before this tool can find text. Multi-column documents may need their paragraphs reordered after extraction. Images and mathematical layout are not recreated. Keep the original PDF nearby when checking figures, footnotes and page-specific references.
Automatic extraction does not infer a complete hierarchy of headings, lists or tables. Scanned pages need OCR first.
